There are more than millions of books out there in world, and each book can be easily kept in some or the other category to describe them in a better manner. But when we talk about the children books we generally get confused regarding, if we should keep a particular book in this category or not.

It is said that children books category is the biggest category of books if compared to any other category of book out there, as a huge list of books is included in this particular category. But some time we can get confused if a particular book is a child book or not and to resolve this particular confusion only we have came up with an illustrated discussion on the same.

The very first type of book which comes in the huge list of children books is there subjective books or we can call them as course books. These particular types of books are those which are used to learn and complete their school and college curriculum. Some of the very basic books which come under this heading are physics books or chemistry books.

The next type of books in the list is stories books, these particular kinds of books are full of short and sweet stories accompanied with beautiful pictures in them. Such books are bought by parents for their kid’s entertainment and as well as indirect learning (indirect learning because instead of direct lesson, important things and lesson related to the outer world and life are taught in these books with the help of stories which means indirect learning). But it is not necessary that these books should always teach something to a child, there are many stories books in the market like comic books which are there for entertainment purely.

The last but not the least, kind of book which comes in the list are reference books, or can also be called as help book. To understand things and lessons in a better manner, children’s sometime has to use these reference books, as they contain the same information or the information related to the topic in an elaborate manner. A few of the examples of such reference books are English dictionaries, encyclopedia and many more, in fact even the biographies and autobiography can also be included in this category.
